Tinna Þorvalds Önnudóttir is both an actress and a classical singer. She graduated with a BA degree in acting in 2010 and studied classical singing with Alina Dubik from 2012 and graduated in the spring of 2023.
Tinna has a wide experience in acting on the stage and screen and she is a member of the theatre collective Spindrift theatre. She has given solo concerts and participated in different concert series as well as taking part in masterclasses, for example one lead by Kristinn Sigmundsson in Hafnarborg in 2021.

In 2020 she was awarded third place in her category in Vox Domini singing competition, and in 2022 she got artist's salary from the state to work on the concert version of the opera Ástin ein taugahrúga, enginn dans við Ufsaklett.

Coming from the theatre over into the world of classical music gives Tinna a unique perspective which influences her approach to musical perfomance whether it be concerts or opera. She is immensely interested in investigating the possibilities of the opera, and of classical music in general, as a narrative medium in modern society.
