Bjarni Guðmundsson

Bjarni Guðmundsson (tenor) was born in Reykjavik, Iceland.  He grew up in the countryside of South Iceland. He began his singing studies in Iceland but moved to the Netherlands in 2011 to study with Jón Þorsteinsson at the Conservatory of Utrecht. He graduated in the year of 2015 with a Bachelor's degree. Bjarni is a co-founder of Olga Vocal Ensemble and now sings with several different groups, including M'ANAM, an Irish-Icelandic vocal group led by the Irish composer Michael McGlynn.
