Asger

Asger Kudahl, is a Danish sound designer and composer graduated from the Danish Academy of Performing Arts in 2016. Asger has been primarily responsible for the sound in projects ranging from interactive theatre performances to internet radio and art films. His primary work is in the performing arts, where he has made a special mark with his over 40 productions in the performances like ‘Færdig med Eddy’ (Betty Nansen), ‘Martyrmuseum’ (Sort/Hvid), ‘En Fortælling om Blindhed’ (Århus Teater), ‘Museum for Fremtiden’ (Sort/Hvid) and ‘Væggen’ (Betty Nansen).  Asger’s unique collaboration with the composer Matilde Böcher in the solo-opera LOL Laughing Out Lonely made his debut in the world of opera. 

Asger takes up the position as head of education for the sound design education at the Danish Academy of Performing Arts in August 2025.
