Svava Bernhardsdottir is a graduate of The Juilliard School (DMA 1989) and also studied baroque violin in Basel at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. She worked in Switzerland, Germany and Slovenia and is now a member of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, teaches at the Music High School in Reykjavik and plays in several ensembles like Camerarctica. Her CD´s include Svaviola II (ITM) and Duo Freyja (Polarfonia).
