Freydís Þrastardóttir studies classical singing at Reykjavík College of Music under the guidence of Hlín Pétursdóttir Behrens.

Freydís has participated in musicals, performed in student operas, is a member of the classical octet Fjárlaganefnd, and has performed at town festivals, Óperudagar í Kópavogi and Nordic music days.
